Install the Spindle Facing the front on your machine, loosen the two bolts the mount with the four included mounting bolts. Fully tighten the two bolts on the right side (Figure 3). Slide on the left side of the mount and remove the router (Figure 1).

Attach the Water Tubing & Flow Meter Cool it! The liquid cooling system prevents the spindle from over- heating, prolonging its life. Remove the nuts from the two coolant fittings at the top of the spindle (Figure 5). Slide one of the nuts onto the short section of water tubing and then onto one of the hose nipples on top of the spindle—it doesn’t matter which one.
Pump and Reservoir Water Source Next, you’ll connect the coolant reservoir and pump. Start by running the pump’s electrical cord through the grom- met in the reservoir lid from the bottom side. Insert the tubing ends through the grommet from the top side of the lid.

Collet & Nut installation 1/4” or 1/2” Collet The 3 HP spindle comes with a 1/4” and a 1/2” collet. To install a collet, insert the short, beveled end into the spindle nut (a), hold the collet against the inside wall of the spindle nut (b) and give it a firm twist while pushing in to engage the snap ring inside the spindle nut (c).
