    INTRODUCTION PRODUCT OVERVIEW Powerciat LX air-cooled chillers and Hydrociat LW water-cooled chillers are equipped with a Connect Touch control that that serves as the user interface and configuration tool for CIAT communicating devices. Connect Touch is a system used for controlling Powerciat LX air-cooled and Hydrociat LW water-cooled chillers. It controls compressors to maintain the desired entering and leaving chilled water setpoints.

Note: To install the software, it is required to power cycle the controller manually (power off and on the controller).

Do not remove USB at this stage! The board will be upgraded first, and then the system will be restarted.

COMMUNICATION TYPE: NETWORK VS. UNIT CONFIGURATION Appropriate unit configuration is critical to ensure that all chiller operations are performed effectively. The system control can distinguish three configuration levels, i.e. factory configuration, service configuration and user configuration.

The parameters can be configured through the user display (Connect Touch) or service tools (Network Service Tool).
