LED is lit
Status
Device is in normal state (ready).
LED is off
Status
Device is in error state. Press
<HOLD> to quit, then <STOP> or
<START>.
LEDs 1...4
The combination of flashing LEDs 1
flashing
to 4 identifies the error number.
Lift operation
Raises or lowers the lift.
Initialize Sample changer
Initializes the Sample changer. Lift
and rack are reset to initial position.
Method selection
Use the < > and < > key to select one of method 1 to 4. The actually se-
lected method is indicated by LED 1 to 4.
Switching on/off Stirrer 1 or 2
Use the <STIR 1> and <STIR 2> key to switch on or off stirrer 1 or stirrer 2
resp.
The status of stirrer 1 is indicated by LED 1, the one of stirrer 2 is indicated
by LED 2.
Switching on/off external pump 1 or 2
Use the <PUMP1> and <PUMP 2> key to switch on or off external pump 1
or external pump 2, resp.
The status of pump 1 is indicated by LED 3, the one of pump 2 is indicated
by LED 4.
Back to normal state
Press <SELECT> as often as necessary until all [SELECT]-LEDs are off. In normal state the status
LED is lit.
Shifting the rack
PUMP 1 PUMP 2
Shifts the rack by one position to the
left (anticlockwise) or to the right
(clockwise).
Starts a method
Starts the Sample changer, execut-
START
ing the active method.
Status
LED flashes slowly
Status
Method running (busy).
LED flashes rapidly
Status
Device is in HOLD state. Press
<STOP> or <START>.
