3 Create and select the segment you want
to insert.
4 Press Ctrl+E on your keyboard and
choose Insert—Before from the shortcut
menu to exit the Insert mode.
The segments return to their original color.
5 To verify your design's segment
sequence, choose View—Sequence View
and select how you want to view your
sequence.
Inserting segments later
in the segment sequence
You can add segments later in your design's
segment sequence and change the order
segments are sewn. Insert—After mode is
ideal if you missed a segment, or if you want
to add another segment.
To insert segments after the insertion
point:
1 Select the segment before the insertion
point.
2 Press Ctrl+E on your keyboard and
choose Insert—After from the shortcut
menu.
You know Insert mode is on when the
type of mode is check-marked on the
shortcut menu.
All the segments after the segment you
selected are grayed out.
3 Create and select the segment you want
to insert.
4 Press Ctrl+E on your keyboard and
choose Insert—After from the shortcut
menu to exit the Insert mode.
The segments return to their original color.
5 To verify your design's segment
sequence, choose View—Sequence View
and select how you want to view your
sequence.
