CLD-V5000 Sequential Playback
2. Function SW Settings
Set the function switches on the back of each CLD-5000 to be connected in a
sequenctial playback series as follows:
• SW1, 2: BAUD Rate
All players must be set to the same baud rate for sequential playback. See pg 2-4 & 2-6.
• SW3: Single-Side or Both-Side Playback
Each player can be set individually. OFF/UP = One Side, ON/DOWN = Both Side Playback
• SW4: Repeat
For sequential playback, this switch must be set OFF/UP
• SW5: Load Start/Power ON Start
This switch must be OFF/UP if sequential playback is to be started manually.
Set only the first player's SW 5 to ON/DOWN if sequential playback is to be started automatically.
• SW6: Blue/Black
Either can be selected. OFF/UP = Blue; ON/DOWN = Black.
• SW7: Sequential Playback
This switch must be set to ON/DOWN
• SW8: reserved
This switch must be OFF
3. Operation
a) Manual Operation
Press the PLAY button on a player for more than two seconds to begin sequential playback.
b) Changing Discs
Discs can be changed at any time when a player is in stand-by mode.
Press LD or CD OPEN/CLOSE button more than two seconds to open the disc tray.
c) Player Functionality Under Sequential Playback
The remote control unit and bar-code reader commands can not be accepted when the
player is set for Sequential Playback .
Only PLAY, LD or CD OPEN/CLOSE and POWER buttons are functional in Sequential
Playback mode.
Any of the functional buttons that are used during Sequential Playback must be
pressed for more than two seconds to prevent mis-operation.
d) Playback Interruption
If LD or CD OPEN/CLOSE button on the playing unit is pressed for more than two
seconds, the next player starts playback.
The currently playing unit will stop playback if the PLAY button on a stand-by player
is pressed for more than two seconds.
