20. Front Charging Indicator — Lights during battery
charging and goes off when the battery is fully charged. If a
fully charged battery is placed in the cradle, the LED does
not light and no charging takes place. While you can monitor
incoming calls while the radio is in the charger, do not
attempt to transmit while it is in the cradle.
21. DC Input Jack — Connect the AC adapter then plug the
adapter into a standard 10/40V AC outlet. The DC adapter
connects to a vessel's 12V socket and this jack.
22. Charging Latch — Holds the radio in place when you in-
sert it into the cradle.
