2. Removing Packing Materials

Remove and dispose of any protective film and
orange tape.
•
Using the printer with orange tape or protective film
still attached, may cause the printer to malfunction.

Open the scanning unit / cover and remove the
orange tape.

Close the scanning unit / cover.
3. Turning on the Printer

Connect the power cord.
•
The plug is set at an angle.

Open the operation panel and press the ON
button.
