    Quick Start Guide The gaugeART CAN Gauge is a compact 52mm OLED gauge that connects to compa ble Haltech ECUs to display real- me data from CAN broadcasts. The gauge is wirelessly configurable using an Android (version 4.4 or later) mobile device through wifi.
  • Page 4 Requirements Compa ble ECU: Pla num Sprint 500/RE Pla num Sport 1000/2000/GM Pla num Pro Plugin Elite series Android Device: An Android device (version 4.4 or later required), including mobile phones and tablets. Gauge Moun ng & Cable Installa on Remove the supplied moun ng bracket from the rear of the gauge by unscrewing the two thumb screws from the rear of the gauge.
  • Page 5 Termina ng Resistor Configura on The gaugeART CAN Gauge includes a user-configurable termina ng resistor jumper. The resistor is enabled when the jumper is in place. If using mul ple devices, only fit terminator when gauge is the last device in the chain.
  • Page 6 Depending on access to the wire – use a wire tap or splice the factory wire to connect the gaugeART CAN Gauge orange wire. Enable ECU Telemetry: On Elite ECU's, go to Main Setup > Devices, and ensure 'Haltech CAN Support Dash' is selected. Apply and reboot ECU. Connect to gaugeART CAN Gauge App: Download the gaugeART CAN Gauge App from the Play Store.
  • Page 7 Create Configura on: Tap “Create Configura on”. Select Haltech for ECU type. The gaugeART CAN Gauge allows you to create up to 10 pages of gauge layouts – in 1, 2, or 4 gauge layouts. Tap to select channel, configure bar graph range, warnings, and custom gauge labels (rename “MAP”...
  • Page 8 Save & Send Configura on: Tap the More Selec on icon in the top right and tap Save. Enter a name under “Enter Save File Name” and tap Save.  To program, tap Send Configura on. The gauge will be programmed and will show your configura on.
  • Page 9 Load Configura on: Select the ECU you are working with. Previously saved files will be shown in the second drop down. Click load to open the file. To Edit your saved configura on, click edit once loaded. To program, tap Send Configura on.
