5 Detach both ground cables from the rear of the 4600
displays using the 7 mm spanner. The 4600 displays should
now be free of all cables.

6 Disconnect all wires from their terminals on terminal rails
TB3 and TB4. AK102 shown in Figure 6:
• AK101/AK102: Two terminal rails
• AK103/AK104: One terminal rail

7 Cut and discard the cable ties that hold the separate cable
looms together.
The cable loom(s) connected to terminal rails A of the 4600
displays should now be free to remove and discard.

8 The mains/ground loom should be retained. At this stage,
they should only be disconnected from the 4600 display(s).

9 AK103 only:
Go to: Section "5.3 Remove the range selector switches" on
page 9.
10 AK104 only:
Go to: Section "5.4 Remove the 4600 displays" on page 11.
11 AK101 and AK102 only:
Swap the fuse holders:
• Insert the fuse holder with the longest wires into F1 (right
hand side as seen from rear).
• Insert the fuse holder with the shorter wires into F2 (left hand
side as seen from rear).
This is to ensure that the wires from F1 will reach the upper
CM30 display unit when the CM30s are inserted during
reassembly.
