5 Upgrade procedure
5 .1 Remove the rear casing
5.1.1 Safety precautions
WARNING
Electricity hazard
Make sure that the system is fully isolated from power
supplies or other external wiring before you start this
procedure.
5.1.2 Procedure
1 If not already removed, undo and remove the four retaining
nuts.

2 If panel-mounted, also remove the four locking cams, then
dismount from the rear casing.
5 .2 Disconnect and remove existing wiring

5.2.2 Procedure
1 Disconnect all wires from connections 1 and 2 on all safety
barriers present:
• AK101: Three safety barriers, five disconnections
• AK102: Two safety barriers, four disconnections (see Figure 3)
• AK103/AK104: x1 safety barrier, x2 disconnections

2 Disconnect the blue and brown heater wires from the L and
N terminals on terminal blocks A on the 4600 display(s).

3 Disconnect the ground wire(s) from terminal E on each
display unit.
4 Pull both black terminal blocks A and B from the back of each
4600 display.
