5 It may be possible at this point that the hole will be big
enough. Try placing the new switch in the hole. If the only
thing stopping the switch from fitting is the notch (see
Figure 24), then begin filing the notch. Otherwise, use a file
to widen the hole until the switch will pass through the hole.
Note:
Be careful not to widen too far (do not exceed 22.5 mm), such
that the switch passes through without a notch. The notch is
important to prevent switch case moving in the panel during
use.

6 Use a hand file to carve a notch at least 1.65 mm high and at
least (and as close as possible to) 3.2 mm wide going
vertically up from the top of the hole. We used a 3 mm file,
which was wide enough. Two persons are recommended for
this step, one person to hold the panel in place.
7 Keep a switch available to routinely check if the switch fits
as you file the notch.
8 When the switch fits, finish by deburring and cleaning the
hole to remove any swarf from your panel.
9 Check for any parts that may have fallen off the panel during
drilling, particularly small screws from the terminal rails, TB1,
TB2, TB3 or TB4.
10 If any parts have fallen, install them.
11 Thoroughly clean and discard swarf from the work area,
particularly if this drilling section of the manual has been
done in the same location as the rest of this procedure.
