...5 .3 Remove the range selector switches
4 Lift off the black outer shell.

5 Use a 14 mm spanner to remove the brass retaining nuts
holding the switch.
The switch should be free to fall through the back of the
panel. The switch, along with the attached wiring should
now be completely free of the panel and can be discarded.
