• Memory Stick PRO Duo ™ (Mark2)
The Mark2 logo indicates media suitable for high speed recording devices such as AVCHD camcorders.
• Transfer speed depends on the product used. This media supports Parallel data transfer (High-Speed data transfer).
Parallel data transfer can only be used with a Parallel data transfer compatible product.
• This media supports MagicGate ™ content protection technology, developed by Sony. Please confirm that your product is
compatible with the content protection function in Memory Stick PRO ™ media before using.
• Copyright law prohibits unauthorized use of recordings.
• The "Memory Stick ™ File Rescue Service" is a service to recover data from various types of Sony's Memory Stick ™
media. Please refer to the following URL for further information.

Precautions on Use
• Do not touch terminal A with your hand or any metal object.
• Do not apply strong pressure to the memo area B when writing onto it.
• Do not strike, bend, drop or wet this media.
• Do not attempt to disassemble or convert this media.
• Do not use or store this media in the following locations:
– Where the range of recommended operating conditions is exceeded.
(Inside a closed car in summer or in strong sunshine/in direct sunlight/near a heater, etc.)
– Humid or corrosive locations.
• You can insert this media into the Memory Stick Duo ™ Adaptor (MSAC-M2) (sold separately) to use with the standard
size Memory Stick PRO ™ compatible products.

• Verify the correct direction of insertion before use.
• We recommend that you make a backup copy of important data.
Sony shall not be responsible for any damage or loss of data you recorded.
• This media is formatted prior to shipping. To reformat this media, use a Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo ™ or Memory Stick
PRO ™ compatible products. For details, refer to the product instruction manual or support center. To format this media
on your computer, use the "Memory Stick ™ Formatter" software. Go to the URL mentioned above to download the
"Memory Stick ™ Formatter."
• Formatting this product, deletes the data on this product.
• Recorded data may be damaged or lost in the following situations.
– If you remove this media or turn off the power while formatting, reading or writing data.
– If you use this media in locations subject to static electricity or electrical noise.
The capacity is composed of the actual usable capacity and system files.
