Brown Stacking Commode with Removable Arms – TOI730
Intended Purpose
Medequip commodes are designed to assist those who have difficulty in accessing or using a standard
toilet. It can also be used as a temporary chair. All Medequip commodes have a hinged plastic toilet seat,
commode bucket with lid and vinyl lift off seat.
Instructions for Use:
Remove vinyl seat to use commode.
Replace vinyl seat to use commode as a temporary chair.
1 - To adjust the height remove each 'E' clip in turn. Slide each leg to the required height.
2 - Align the holes and replace 'E' clip.
3 - Ensure that all legs are secured at the same position in order to prevent rocking.
Never extend legs in a manner so that the commode is slanting. This will compromise the safety
of the user.
Detachable Arms Model
1. To detach arms for transfer, depress the metal buttons each side of the commode arms fixing sockets.
2. Using both hands, remove commode arm by lifting arm from fixing socket.
3. To refit arms, locate arms into fixing sockets and push down to stop.
4. Depress buttons on each end of arm, ensuring buttons "click" firmly into place.
Commode Buckets
To remove the commode bucket, simply lift the toilet's seat and fix the lid provided onto the bucket to
avoid splashing and carefully raise the bucket and dispose of the contents in to a proper sluice or WC.
Never use an open drain, sink or basin. This could cause a serious health risk.
Clean out the residue with a suitable disinfectant and refit to the commode after use.
