print-quality problems, use the information in this topic to diagnose the problem.

Caution:
Damage caused by using unsupported paper, transparencies, and other specialty
media is not covered by the Dell warranty or service agreement.
Light Prints
The overall image is lighter than normal.
Possible Causes
The paper may be damp.
You may be using Draft mode.
The toner level may be low.
Drum cartridge near end of life.

Replace the paper.
Turn off Draft mode.
If the toner cartridge is low on toner, replace it.
Replace drum cartridge.
