Set the band selector to 'FM-stereo'.
Tune in desired station by rotating the
tuning control. Make fine adjustment
so that the pointer of FM tuning meter
indicates the center and that of signal
strength meter deflects fully to right.
FM stereo indicator lights up as soon
as FM stereo broadcast is tuned in.
This set has the built-in Auto Lock circuit
that automatically corrects the receiving
frequency deviation due to change of
ambient temperature or vibration.
Touching the tuning control knob stops
the action of Auto Lock circuit auto-
matically. By using the tuning control
tune the set so that the best reception
is obtained. Releasing the tuning control
knob from hand puts the Auto Lock circuit
in operation, causing the AutoLock indi-
cator to light up.
Note: When carring out tuning, touch only

the tuning contrel knob.
To cut out high frequency noise caused
at FM selection, set FM muting switch
to 'on'.
If your desired station is lacated too far
and its signals are weak, set FM muting
switch to 'off',
Otherwise, broadcast signal
out.
At the reception of a weak broadcast
transmission usually set the IF band selector
to the 'normal' position to reduce the
interference by other stations. If you
tune in the set to a station whose trans-
mitting signal can be received in a good
condition, set the selector to the 'wide'
position, which reduces distortion and
is made cut
improves stereo separation.
To reduce high frequency noises caused
at the back ground of FM stereo broad-
cast,
set the band selector to 'hi-blend'.

Stellen Sie den Bereichswahlschalter auf
'FM-stereo'.
Suchen Sie den gewilinschten Sender durch
Drehen des Senderabstimmknopfes. Zur
Feineinstellung richten Sie den Zeiger
der Ratio-Mittenanzeige so, daf& er sen-
krecht verbleibt; die Nadel cer Feldstarke-
anzeige soll ganz nach rechts schwingen.
Beim Empfang von UKW-Stereo-Sendern
leuchtet nun die Stereo-Anzeige auf,
Das Gerat hat die eingebaute 'Auto Lock'-
Schaltung, dia die Abweichung der Emp-
fangsfrequenz wegen der Umgebungstempe-
raturschwankung oder der Vibration auto-
matisch korrigiert.
Wenn der Senderabstimmknopf berthrt
wird, wird die 'Auto Lock'-Schaltung
automatisch aufer Betried gesetzt. Durch
Drehen des Senderabstimmknopfes erhalten
Sie den besten Empfang. Wenn der Sen-
derabstimmknopf von Ihrer Hand ios-
gelassen wird, wird die 'Auto Lock-Schal-
tung in Betrieb gesetzt und dann die 'Auto
Lock'-Anzeige leuchtet auf.

ren Sie nur den Senderabstimmknopf.
Um das Rauschen zwischen den Sendern
wahrend des Abstimmvorganges zu unter-
driicken, ist der Schalter 'MUTING' in
die Stellung 'an' zu bringen.
Falls der Empfang von schwachen Signalen
(d.h. weit entfernt liegende Sender) ge-
wUnscht wird, muss der MUTING-Schalter
in die Stellung 'off' gebracht werden.
Beim Empfang einer schwachen Rund-
funkUbertragung stellen Sie Ublich den
ZF-Band-Wahlschalter auf die 'normal' Stel-
lung, um die Stérung durch andere Sender
zu verringern. Beim Abstimmen auf eine
Senderstation, die gute Empfangzustande
gewahrleistet, stellen Sie den Wahlschalter
auf die 'wide' Stellung. Dies verringert
die Verzerrung und erhoht die Stereo-
Ubersprechdampfung.
Um weiter enifernte Stereosender weitge-
hend rauschtrei zu empfangen, kann der
Bandwahlschalter in die Schaltstellung 'hi-
blend' gebracht werden.

RECEPTION FM STEREOPHONIQUE
1. Réglez le sélecteur de bandes 4 la position
'FM stereo'.
2. Cantez la station voulue en tournant la
commande d'accord. Procédez a un accord
fin de facon que I|'aiguille de |'indicateur
d'accord fM indique le centre et que
|'indicateur d'intensité de signal dévie en-
tigrement vers la droite. Le témoin de
FM stéréophonique s'allume dés gue l'on
a capté une émission FM stéréophonique.
Cet apparei| est doté d'un circuit de ver-
roujllage automatique concu pour com-
penser automatiquement le décalage de
fréguence de réception produit par les
vibrations et les changements de tempéra-
ture ambiante.
Le circuit de verrouillage automatique se
libere automatiquement lorsqu'on touche
le bouton de commande d'accord. Régiez
la commande d'accord de maniére a obtenir
la meilleure réception. Lorsqu'on quitte
de la commande d'accord Ja main, le cir-
cuit de verrouillage automatique se met
a fonctionner, et alors, la lampe témoin
du circuit de verrouillage automatique
s'allume.
Note: En cas de réglage de la fréquence, ne
maniez seulement que Ja commande d'ac-
cord.
3. Pour éliminer les bruits de hautes fréquences
qui se produisent pendant fe réglage de
la FM, mettez le commutateur de réglage
silencieux de Ja FM sur la pasition 'an'.
4. Si la station recherchée est trés éloignée
et que ses signaux sojent faibles, mettez
le commutateur de réglage silencieux
a 'off', sinon, non seulement Jes bruits,
mais l'émission elle-méme seraient inaudi-
bles.
5, Pour recevoir les émissions d'une station
lointaineé ou pour rédvire l'interférence
des ondes provenant d'autres stations,
le commutateur de bandes Fl, en général,
doit @tre réglé a !a position 'normal'.
En cas de récepcion des émissions d'une
bonne condition, réglez Je sélecteur 4
la position 'wide' (etendu}. Les carac-
téristiques de distorsion et de séparation
stéréo sont alors améliorées.
6. Pour diminuer les bruits de hautes fré-
quences qui se manifestent en fond des
émissions FM stéréophoniques, reglez le
sélecteur de bandes a la position 'hi-blend'.
