OPERATION
AM (MW) RECEPTION
1. Connect power cord plug into a wall outlet,
2. Tilt
the MW bar aerial
fully backwards.
Note:
Do not allow the speaker connection
leads or power supply lead to approach
the MW bar aerial. Otherwise, electrical
noise can be produced.
Set the power switch to 'on'.
. Set the band selector to 'AM'.
. Tune in the desired station by rotating
the tuning control.
Make fine adjustment so that the pointer
of signal strength meter peaks towards the
right of the scale.

6. Turn the set toward the direction which
results in the strongest MW signal.
7. (f the set is operated at the far-inside
of for example, a concrete-made building,
it may be that MW signal becomes difficult
to be caught. To prevent this, install the
set at. as near the window as possible.
8. When an amplifier is being connected
with 'VARIABLE' output jacks of this
unit, it is enabled to regulate the output
level by ratating OUTPUT LEVEL control.
9, Adjust the controls of the amplifier.

INBETRIEBNAHME
MW-EMPFANG
1. Verbinden Sie den Netzstecker mit einer
Netzsteckdose.
2. Richten Sie die MW-Ferritantenne ganz
nach hinten.
Anmerkung:
Achten Sie darau?, da& die Lautsprecher-
Verbindungskabel oder Speisekabel nicht
mit der MW-Ferritantenne in Bertihrung
kommen. Dies kannte stérende Gerdusche
verursachen,
3. Schalten Sie das Gerat ein.
4. Stellen Sie den Bereichswahlschalter auf
'AM',
6. Suchen Sie den gewlinschten Sender durch
Drehen des Senderabstimmknopfes.
Der Sender ist dann am besten eingestel-
It, wenn der Zeiger des Feldstarke-An-
zeigeinstruments den hdchstmdglichen Aus-
schlag nach rechts erreicht.
6. Richten Sie den Tuner auf besten MW-
Empfang aus.
7. Falls das Gerat in einem Gebdude betrieben
wird, dessen Wande starke Dampfungseigen-
schaften aufweisen, kann der MW-Empfang
darunter leiden. Um soichem vorzubeugen
empfiehit es sich, das Gerat so nah wie
méglich bei einem Fenster aufzustelien.
8. Dadurch wird der Ausgangspegel des Tuners
dem anderer Tonquellen (Plattenspieler,
Tonbandgerdt usw.) angeglichen.
9. Stellen Sie den Verstarker richtig ein.

UTILISATION
RECEPTION AM (PO)
1. Branchez la fiche du cordon d'alimentation
sur une prise de courant.
2. Repliez . i'antenne ferrite PO compléte-
ment vers l'arriére. .
Note:
Eloignez de l'antenne ferrite PO les cables
de jonction des enceintes acoustigues
et le cordan d'alimentation: ils engendre-
raient des brults parasites.
3. Mettez le commutateur d'alimentation sur
la position 'on'.
4, Régltez le sélecteur de bandes sur la position
"AM'.
5. Captez Id station voulue au moyen de
la commande d'accord.
Réglez sur tes stations de maniére que
la déviation de l'aiguille de l'indicateur
d'intensité du signal soit maximale vers
la droite.
6. Orientez l'appareil dans la direction qui
donne le signal le plus puissant.
7. Si l'apparei] est opéré, par exemple, assez
profondément dans |'intérieur d'un bati-
ment construit en béton, il peut, arriver
que les amissions de PO deviennent dif-
ficile 4 capter. Pour éviter ceci, installez
l'apparei! aussi prés que possible d'une
fenétre.
8. Lorsqu'on branche un amplificateur sur
la sortie "VARIABLE' de cet appareil,
on peut régler le niveau de sortie en tour-'
nant la commande du niveau de sortie.

9. Réglez 4 volonté les commandes de |'ampli-
ficateur.
