B. Checking by the use of oscilloscope:
1. Make a connection between 'V' jack {or
'H' jack) of the unit and 'VERTICAL'
terminal (or 'HORIZONTAL' terminal}
of oscillascope.
2. Tune in FM station in the same manner
asin A, 1.
3. Adjust the sensitivity of oscillascope to
be about SmV/cem in both vertical and
horizontal axes.
4. Referring to the figure, vary the direction
of aerial so that the multipath distortion
will be reduced ta the minimum and the
pointer of signal strength meter will swing
to right to the full extent.
Caution:
This adjustment should be
only by a technician.

B. Einstellung mittels Oszillograph:
1. Die riickseitig angebrachten Buchsen 'V'
und 'H' werden mit den Vertikal- und
Horizontaleingangsbuchsen des Oszil-
Jographen verbunden.
2. Stellen Sie einen
Sender ein. -
3. Die Eingangsempfindlichkeit des Oszillo-
graphen soil horizontal und vertikal auf
5mv/em eingestellt werden.
4. Richten Sie die Antenne so aus, dass. das
Schirmbild die geringste vertikale Ampli-
tude aufweist. Das Feldstaérke-Instrument
muss jetzt einen maximalen Ausschlag
nach rechis anzeigen. ,
Achtung:
Diese Einsteilung sollte nur vom Fachmann
vorgenommen werden.

CABINET CLEANING
Clean the cabinet with a soft cloth moistened
with a detergent. Do not use strong solvents
such as benzine and thinner which may cause
loss of luster or finish.
CAUTIONS ON USE
71. Semiconductors are highly sensitive to heat.
Do nat place the unit for long period of
time where it will be exposed to the direct
sundight or heat.
2. The unit should be protected from getting
wet in the rain as otherwise its internal
circuitry may be impaired.
3. Place the unit in an electrical noise free
location.
4. Do not use strong solvents such as in-
secticide, thinner, benzine and gasoline near
the unit. If the cabinet or control panel is
splashed with them, the respective l|uster or
finish can be removed.
REINIGUNG DES GEHAUSES
Reinigen Sie das Gehiuse mit einem weichen,
mit einem neutralen Reinigungsmittel ange-
feuchteten Tuch. Benutzen Sie keine starken
Lésungsmitte] wie Benzin und Verdiinnung,
die zur Entfernung von Glanz oder Farbe der
Plastikteile fihren.
ACHTUNG
1. Da Halbleiter sehr hitzeempfindlich sind,
setzen Sie Ihr Gerat nicht direkter Warme-
strahlung aus.
2. Schitzen Sie Ihr Gerat vor Feuchtigkeit.
3. Vermeiden Sie die Aufstellung des Gerdtes
in der N&he von nicht funkentstérten
elektrischen Geraten.
4. Verwenden Sie keine Spriihmittel (Raum-
spray usw.) in unmittelbarer Nahe des
Gerates, da auch hierdurch Schaden auf der
Oberflache des Gehaduses auftreten kénnen.

B. Vérification au moyen d'un ascilloscope:
Etablisez la jonction entre la prise 'V'

de cet apparel et la borne 'VERTICAL'
ou 'HORIZONTAL' de Iascilloscope.
2. Capter une station FM de la méme maniére
qu'en A. 1.
3. Régler ta sensibilité de
environ 5SmV/em. sur
sur |'axe horizantat.
4, En se reportant a la figure, modifiez l'orian-
tation de ['antenne de maniére que la
distorsion multivoies soit réduite a son
minimum et que Il'aiguille de |'indicateur
d'intensité du signal soit a sa position
maximale a droite.

NETTOYAGE DU COFFRET
Servez-vous d'un chiffon mou et d'un peu de
détergent neutre pour nettoyer le coffret.
N'utilisez jamais des solvents tel que le kéroséne
ou bien des diluants, ces derniers étant suscep-
tibles de dissoudre le vernis ou la peinture ou
bien méme les parties plastiques:
PRECAUTIONS A PRENDRE
1. Les semi-conducteurs sont extrémement
sensibles 4 la chaleur. Ne placez pas l'appa-
ret] en un lieu of il soft exposé pendant
langtemps directement au soleil ou 4 la
chaleur.
2. Maintenez I'appareil a l'abri de humidité et
de la pluie: l'eau risquerait d'endommager
les circuits internes.
3. Disposez cet appareil en un endroit exempt
de bruits parasites causés par l'électricité.
4. N'uttlisez pas de dissolvants puissants
comme les insecticides, la térébenthine, la
benzine ou l'essence a4 proximité de cet
appareil. Si ces produits touchent le coffret
ou le tableau de commandes, ces derniers
risquent de perdre le brillant de leur aspect
extérieur.
