  • Page 10 Utiliser l'électricité fournie Laisser le groupe électrogène stabiliser sa vitesse et monter en température (environ 3 à 5 min.). Brancher les appareils à utiliser sur les prises électriques (A12) du groupe électrogène. Basculer le commutateur de tension (A11) sur la tension de sortie souhaitée (115V ou 230V). Utiliser le compteur horaire (A13) pour suivre le temps de fonctionnement du groupe électrogène.
  • Page 11 5.3.1 Vidanger l'huile moteur Pour assurer une vidange rapide et complète, il est nécessaire d’effectuer le renouvellement de l’huile moteur tiède (faire démarrer l’appareil et le laisser tourner quelques minutes si nécessaire). Placer un récipient approprié sous la vis de vidange d’huile (A14-B5), puis retirer le bouchon-jauge de remplissage d’huile (A3-B1) et la vis de vidange d’huile.

  • Page 20 Risks relating to exhaust gases DANGER RISK OF POISONING DANGER OF DEATH (if appropriate) The carbon monoxide present in the exhaust gas may lead to death by inhalation if the concentration levels in the atmosphere are too high. Always use the unit in a well ventilated area where the gases cannot accumulate. For safety reasons and for correct operation of the unit, correct ventilation is essential (risk of poisoning, engine overheating and accidents involving, or damage to, the surrounding equipment and property).

Check that the cables are in good condition and that the unit is clean, in particular the air intake zones (engine air intake, air vents, air filter, etc.).

Generating set maintenance As a safety measure, maintenance should be performed on the generating set regularly and carefully by people who have the necessary experience and are equipped with suitable tools, in respect of current regulations. The maintenance operations to be carried out are detailed in the maintenance table.

    5.3.3 Replace the fuel filter Close the fuel taps (A6). Note the direction of assembly for the fuel filter (C1). Place a suitable container underneath the fuel filter and undo the two clips (C2). The fuel filter is removed. Observing the direction of fitting, fit a new fuel filter and secure it using the two clips. All traces of fuel should be wiped off with a clean cloth and the fuel taps opened.

    Storage conditions In the event that the generating set is not to be used for a long period, respect the following procedure for storing the generating set in order to prevent any damage. The generating set should be stored in its normal operating position; never lay it on its side. Drain the fuel and change the engine oil : Start the generating set and leave it running until it runs out of fuel.
