Information about the operating instructions This operating manual provides important information on handling the LVS-30GX vibratory rammer. The prerequisite for safe working is correct compliance with all specified safety instructions and handling instructions. In addition, the local accident prevention regulations and general safety regulations applicable to the area in which the machine is used must be observed.
Intended Use 2. INTENDED USE The vibratory rammer is a motor-driven machine and is intended exclusively for the compaction of sand, gravel, crushed stone, as well as partially cohesive, mixed soils in confined spaces. The machine may only be used outdoors. Any other use is improper.
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION / OPERATING HOURS RESTRICTION / ENVIRONMENT 3. TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION The machine consists of a 4-stroke OHV petrol engine with attached recoil starter, a clutch, a fuel tank, a spring-loaded tamping system, a tamping insert and a hand guide bar. The engine transmits the power via the tamping system and the tamping insert and generates the impact force for compacting the soil.

SECURITY Never leave the machine running unattended. Only work when you are in good physical shape. Fatigue also leads to carelessness. You need to be particularly alert at the end of your working day. Carry out all work calmly and carefully. The operator is liable for all damage to third parties and their property.

SECURITY 6.3 Personal protective equipment Appropriate protective clothing is required. When handling the machine, personal protective equipment must be worn.protective equipment (PPE)absolutely necessary to minimize the risk to the operator. The following protective measures must be observed: – Tight-fittingwork clothesthat does not hinder movement. It is primarily used to protect against being caught by moving parts.

SECURITY Make sure that no fuel or oil gets into the ground (environmental protection!).Use suitable support. Carefully loosen the tank cap so that the existing pressure in the tank can slowly be released. Check the fuel lines, tank cap and tank for leaks or cracks. The machine must not be operated if there is such damage.

PART NAME engine off If a quick shutdown is required in an emergency situation, move the throttle lever all the way back to the OFF position (c). Incorrect handling of the recoil starter can damage the starter.

MAINTENANCE 13.3 Engine oil oil level check Check the engine oil level with the engine stopped and level. 1. Remove the oil filler plug with dipstick and wipe clean. 2. Reinsert the dipstick into the oil filler neck without screwing it in, then remove it to check the oil level.

MAINTENANCE 13.4 Air filter Cleaning the air filter frequently prevents carburetor malfunctions. Clean the air filter approximately every 10 - 20 hours of operation. More often in particularly dusty conditions. If the engine is operated without or with a damaged air filter element, dirt will enter the engine, causing rapid engine wear.
