Scanner

If you have a scanner with a SCSI connector and a SCSI
PCMCIA card, you can scan important information and
store it in your system. Scan business cards, meeting itiner-
aries, or anything you need to call up and review quickly.

Security

For security, you can choose a system password to protect
your Versa S from unauthorized use. You can also enter a
password to keep anyone from making unwanted changes to
your system's start-up settings.

Creating Presentations

You are giving a client presentation at the end of the week.
To tailor your presentation, you create new slides that
address your client's specific needs. Some of your slides are
stored in files on your system; others are stored on a
compact disc (CD).

Creating Slides and Charts

Use your favorite software (like Excel or Harvard
Graphics) to create and update slides and charts in striking
colors. (Run the spell-checker to avoid embarrassing typos!)
Put your visuals in order for presentation and save them to
the hard disk.

Using a CD-ROM

Install an optional SCSI PCMCIA in your Versa S for a
SCSI interface to access a CD-ROM reader. Connect the
CD-ROM to the card, power on your Versa S, and access
the CD files and slides you want.
A CD-ROM also lets you create dynamic multimedia pres-
entations that include sound and animation. Interspersed
with charts and slides, you can keep your clients dynami-
cally involved in your presentation.
