After the R9 and R10 values have been defined, tune R7 and R6. Use the Excel file to modify the value of R7 and R6
to match R7 and R6_calculated value.
As mentioned before, R7 and R6 are used to decrease or increase the hysteresis voltage.
In this example, the calculated value for R7 and R6 was 1504500Ω, R6 was set 1MΩ and R7 was set to 510KΩ. The
percentage error achieved is low. R6 is set to 1MΩ to start the tuning process, if required modify R6 value when R7
cannot achieve the calculated value.
From the voltage outputs, it can be observed that there is very low percent error between Vref and Vsense.
Note: If the device is held in the transition region for a prolonged time at high load currents, it is possible for it to
reach the over-temperature threshold and switch off in a fault mode. During the transition, the maximum load should
be limited to 1.5A.
