Listening to Messages

While or after listening to a message, an extension user has many message handling options
from which to choose.
While or after listening to a message, a Subscriber Mailbox user has many message handling options from
which to choose. The listening options let you quickly and efficiently manage your voice mail messages,
respond to the message sender, or forward the message to a co-worker for additional handling. The following
table shows these options.

Description
• Record a reply.
• Forward the message to another mailbox.
• Make a call to the message sender.
• Hear the time and date the message was sent.
Save the message in your mailbox.
• Erase the message.
Listen to the next message.
Back up a few seconds.
Back up to the beginning of the message.
Go ahead a few seconds.
Pause/resume listening.
• Select New Message List
• Select Saved Message List
• Select All Message List
Exit the listen mode.
Action
Intercom Call
Caller hears, "That is
an invalid entry," and
the greeting repeats.
IntraMail hangs up.
