  • Page 3 Introduction The model GNDP - Folding Wheel Offset Disk Harrow - was specially designed to prepare the soil by breaking its clods, leaving the soil ready for seeders. It also facilitates the herbicide application and the mechanized harvest. The frame ends are manually foldable and the equipment can reach a minimum width of 3250 mm, which facilitates the transportation in rural roads, bridges, narrow gates and others.

    • The instructions under this symbol refers to the safety of the operator or third parties, therefore they should be carefully read and observed. The GNDP disk harrow is simple to operate, requiring however the basic and essential cautions to its handling. Always keep in mind that safety requires constant attention, observation and prudence during harrowing, transportation, maintenance and storage.

    If necessary use banners, lights and other devices in order to give adequate warning to the other drivers. Lifting points The GNDP disk harrow has adequate lifting points located on the frame, being two in the sides and one in the rear part of the frame.

    3) To tighten, the gangs must remain underpinned with a piece of wood or another object, preventing them from moving. (As shown on page 15). This adjustment can be used to centralize the wheelsets with the harrow structure and to eliminate lateral clearances between the articulation axles and the bearings.

    Adjustments and operations Folding the frames for transportation The GNDP harrow has foldable ends to facilitate the transport on narrow places. Move the lateral frames to fold them, as shown in the illustration. Then, place the lock pins (A), fastening an end to the central frame and the other end to the side frames.
