5. Complete hydraulic hook up. The JDRDBLGRPv2b Bale Grabber is designed for attaching to John Deer front loader Refer to Figure 2-3: Figure 2-3: Hook-up JDRDBLGRPv2b Bale Grabber 1. Check for and remove any debris in the John Deer front loader and Bale Grabber hitch point areas before hooking-up to the attachment.
EQUIPMENT CLEARANCES It is important to check clearances before putting the Bale Grabber into operation. Make sure hydraulic hoses are long enough and will not become pinched or entangled in the equipment. Also, make sure the Bale Grabber does not make contact with the power machine frame and tires by carefully going through its full range of motion.

7. Leave enough clearance when turning so that the Bale Grabber and/or round bale do not contact obstacles such as buildings, trees, fences, etc. 8. When traveling over a ramp or incline, keep the heavy end on the “uphill” side of the power machine.
SECTION 3: MAINTENANCE & LUBRICATION MAINTENANCE Proper servicing and adjustments are key to the long life of any attachment. With careful inspection and routine maintenance, you can avoid costly downtime and repair. Check all hardware after several hours of operation and regularly thereafter, to ensure they are tight and secured. LONG-TERM STORAGE Clear, inspect, service, and make necessary repairs to the attachment when storing it for long periods and at the end of the season.
SECTION 6: APPENDIX Bolt Torque The tables shown below give correct torque values for various bolts and cap screws. Tighten all bolts to the torques specified unless otherwise noted. Check tightness of bolts periodically, using bolt torque chart as a guide.
