SYSTEM SETTINGS
Time format:
Select between 12 hour format and 24 hour format.
Date format:
Select between "day.month.year" and "month/day/year" format.

Display

For overhead mounting of the display it is possible to rotate the display contents
180 degrees.
Select the desired setting according to the mounting position of the display.

Remote control

Steering wheel
Activate this option if you want to control the system with a VDO Dayton steering
wheel remote control (accessory).
Favourite button
You can assign a function to the FAVOURITE key on the remote control.
Select one of the displayed functions to assign it to the short or long press of the
FAVOURITE key.

Measuring units

Select between the following measuring units:

Metric: display in kilometres and metres;
–
Anglo: display in miles and yards;
–
American: display in miles, half and quarter miles and feet.

Mounting angle

To adapt the navigation computer to the mounting angle at the installation position
(gyro-sensor compensation). This adjustment only needs to be made once, immediately
after the installation of the navigation system. See "Setting the mounting angle",
page 14.

Default settings

Select this option if you want to reset all user specific settings and values to their
factory defaults. All address book entries remain stored.

Service

For analysing hardware and software problems (code protected).
The " " menu should only be entered for service of the Navigation System by
an authorized service centre.
