1. Where to use your GARDENA Drill Pump Intended use: The GARDENA Drill Pump is designed for private use in the house and garden. This includes draining of small containers, such as aquariums, paddling pools, defective washing machines, as well as the temporary aeration of small garden ponds.
Æ Make sure that the hoses are secured against slipping. The hoses must be made from pressure-resistant material (fabric-rein- forced hose, e.g. GARDENA Classic or FLEX Hose). The suction hose should not be more than 3 m long. 1. Make sure that the suction and pressure hose is leak proof (e.g. with GARDENA Hose Connectors).
4. Operation The pump is self-priming. If it does not start pumping within 12 seconds, switch it off immediately (see section 7: Troubleshooting). 1. Immerse the suction hose into water. 2. Open the outlet side (open valve if necessary). 3. Check that the drill rotates clockwise (corresponding with the direction shown by the arrows on the side of the drill).
