First Boot Device

This feature allows you to select the first boot device for your system and
enable Boot Once. The system boots from the selected device on the next
and subsequent reboots and remains as the first boot device in the BIOS boot
order, until it is changed again either from the iDRAC6 GUI or from the
BIOS Boot sequence.
The first boot device can be selected through the remote Web interface:
1 Open a supported Web browser window.
2 Log in to iDRAC6 Web interface.
3 In the system tree, select SystemSetupFirst Boot Device. The First
Boot Device screen is displayed.
Table 4-29 lists the First Boot Device settings.

First Boot Device Select the first boot device from the drop-down list. The system

Selected = Enabled; Deselected = Disabled. Check this option
to boot from the selected device on the next boot. Thereafter,
the system will boot from the first boot device in the BIOS boot
order.
