Viewing the Health Status of the Power
Supply Units
The Power Supplies page displays the status and rating of the power supply
units installed in the server.

Using the Web-Based Interface

To view the health status of the power supply units:
1 Log in to the iDRAC6 Web-based interface.
2 Select Power Supplies in the system tree. The Power Supplies page
displays and provides the following information:
Power Supplies Redundancy Status: The possible values are:
Full: The power supplies installed in the system are of the same type
and they are functioning properly.
Lost: In systems with two power supply units, the power supplies
installed in the system are of different types or one of them is
malfunctioning or removed. In systems with four power supply units,
the power supplies installed in the system are of different types, or two
or three units are malfunctioning or removed.
Disabled: Only one of the power supplies is available. No redundancy
exists.
Degraded (only in systems with four power supply units): Four power
supply units are installed in the system but one of them is
malfunctioning or removed.
Individual Power Supply Elements: The possible values are:
Status displays the following:
OK indicates that the power supply unit is present and
communicating with the server.
Warning indicates that only warning alerts have been issued
and corrective action must be taken by the administrator. If
corrective actions are not taken, it could lead to critical or severe
power failures that can affect the integrity of the server.
