NECK
The neck is carveO ^rom select hard-rock maple utilizing
our oatentea (U.S. Patent No. 4,237.544) oil am I nation
construction to prevent twisting and warping. Intemallyhoused
between the bllamlnation of rock maple is a fully adjustable
steel torsion rod with rolled threads. This steel torsion rod is
tirmiy aiiacned ai ihebcxJy end of the neck and is adjustable at
the nut end with our special truss rod adjustment loot The T-
27^ utilizes a slant peg headdesign with all s>x tuning machines
In a straight line configuration.
BODY
The body Is constructeo from selected hardwood, which is
finished with our special polyester-urethane material in a
natural finish or one of our optional custom cotors. The body
style is a double cutaway with the necessary space above and
below the neck to aNow ease of piaymg above the I2th fret
position. The body shape has a special nb cage cootourto a I low
ease of handling when instrument is to be used with a guitar
strap The finish we've chosen fcrthe T-27® is very highly mar
and weaihet resistant and should offer years of service to the
owner (See Caring for your Guitar - Finish)
PICKUPS
Two of the three pickups are high output ^rgle coll designs
with blade pole pieces utilizing a unique molded housing which
allows cn Ileal adjusiment near the strings for maximum output.
The bridge {rear} pickup is a high output humbucking design to
greatly Increase tonal range and flexibility of the T-27® This

operation ot the rear pickup thru roiatlon ot the lone control
(see "How the Circuit Works"), The pickups are fully pottod to
reduce unwanted mio-ophomcs and notseand to allow pickups
to remain intact for many years without vibrating loos© m
transport or use Note: Because of this porting it is virtually
impossible to disassemble the pic kup withouttotally destroy mg
the unit. Any attempt to disassemble the pickup win void the
warranty on the electronics of your instrument
CIRCUIT
The circuit utilized in the T-27« is designed for maximum
tonal flexIbilHy, iealuring 3 pickups (two single coils and one
humbuckmgj feeding a 5-way seiectorswitch. The plckupsare
conventional designs and operate through a unique combining
syste m associated wi th the S-dos in o n swi ten. Tne re Is o n l y o ne
volume control which operates the output level of all three
pickups 9hd there are two tone controls, one for the
nock/middte pickup and one for the bridge (humbucking)
pickup. The bridge prekup lone control allows the unique
caoabilily ol selecting between humbucking responseor single

FRETS
The frei wire material tor me T-27* is classed as medium
heavy The (rots are htgh crowned. 18%3 nickel-silver and
provide excellent jntor>ation/compensation characteiisiicsand
superb strmg bending techniques. Eighteen percent nickel
provides significantly more hardness than malenal used on
most competing guitars and should provide years of trouble-
free performance.
HARDWARE
The bridge is a die-cast unil. which is triple plated chrome
with fully adjustable Individual saddles for intonation The
individual saOdies have been designed to allow a great deal ot
front to back movement for intonation adjustments when
dealing with different gauge strings for different types of
playing lechnique iSee Adjustments • intonalion) The lop nut
IS constructed from a bone-hard polycarbonate material. The
premium tuning machmns have a 15 1 ratio with special
contoureO control knobs
NECK TILT
Th© neck tilt feature controls the all importanf playing
angieof Iheneck whlleat lliesame time allows critical string fret
clearance to be adjusted accuraiety When used in conjunction
with the torsion roO adjustment the guiler should be easily set
up to exact playing speoifirailons for many dllferenl styles and

SCALE
This instrument features a 'full" seal© length which

CASE
The case is padded, custom molded and contoured to fit
the T-27- guitar and includes a large storage area, secure
latches, and lock system. This un4 i$ molded with a double-
walled construction and has passed most requirements to be
rated as a "flite ease type"
CONTROLS
1. Volume. The volume control is the element for regulating
the output of alt three p ekups and the level is Increased by
rotation clockwise while a counje''Clockwise motion

decrease the output signal It is also compensated so that there
IS a minimal loss of high frequencies wiin reduced volume,
however, optimum performance is at a maximum setting A
