1. DISASSEMBLY
1.1 PARTS REPLACEMENT CAUTIONS
(see Exploded View)
1. When installing the gear unit assembly 60) , observe
that lock lever A, which presses the take-up guide pole
, enters slit B of the adapter frame Q).
2. Do not disassemble the gear unit assembly 3
3. Use special care when handling the take-up guide pole
lever 27), supply guide pole lever and the gear
unit assembly 60) , since these are particularly vital
sections.

1.2 GUIDE POLE INCLINATION
1. Guide pole inclination
1) Without inserting a cassette, close the cassette door
and press the cassette lever to initiate the
loading operation.
2) Open the front lid and observe the take-up and
supply guide poles. These should be pressed against
the adapter frame by the pole lock lever.
2. Confirm operation
1) After reassembly, load a VHS-C tape and insert in
a VHS video cassette recorder.
2) Operate all transport modes (Play, Fast Forward,
Rewind, Pause, etc.) several times and confirm
stable operation and absence of damage to the tape.
