  • Page 6 2.1 General information The 1422 scale with label printing has comprehensive functions, interfaces and a high-resolution 10-inch operator display with touch function. The 1222 self-service scale has a large 15.6-inch touchscreen display. The standard models are high-quality products for customers who want sophisticated functions.
  • Page 7 2.3 Label printer The models in the 1222 and 1422 series are equipped with a linerless printer as standard. The print resolution is 8 dots/mm, the print speed is 100 mm/s and the maximum print width is 54 mm. 2.4 Interfaces All scales in the 1222 and 1422 series are equipped with 1xRJ45, 1xRJ11, 4xUSB2.0...

  • Page 10 3. INSTALLATION 3.1 Unpacking When you receive the scale, check that it is undamaged and that all parts are present: • Remove the scales from the box. • Remove the protective cover. Keep the packaging and use it if you need to transport the scales later.

  • Page 24 5. OPERATION Function 5.1.1 Switch on When switching on, the scale first displays the company logo. The scale then sets the current weight as the new zero reference and then starts automatically in menu mode, in which the weighing mode can be selected. Access to the menu and weighing mode can be secured (user name and password may be required if this was created when the user was created).

Press and hold the key until a window for entering the tare value appears; by tapping the "OK" key, the tare value is saved according to the entry. 5.1.6 PLU (Price Look Up) The scale can store up to 99999 unit price values, which you can access using the PLU keys or the PLU search key.
