It’s located on the right side of the stand, but you can remove and attached it to a mounted display.

Chapter 2 Assembling the stand Considerations when assembling the stand Warning Two people are required to safely assemble the stand and to mount or remove the display. Lock the casters before installing or working with the display on the stand or adjusting its height. Notes You require ample work space to assemble the stand.

Chapter 3 Using the stand 3. Press the Down button and lower the stand to the lowest position. 4. Press the Down button again and hold for five seconds. The stand lowers then bounces up slightly. 5. Chapter 3 Using the stand Unlocking the height-adjustment safety lock On FSE-510 stands, the stand’s height-adjustment mechanism locks automatically after 20 seconds of inactivity. Unlock the height-adjustment lock before you raise or lower the stand. To unlock the stand’s height adjustment Press and hold the up and down buttons on the control switch for four seconds.

Chapter 4 Troubleshooting the stand Resetting the stand after a surge If the stand loses power from a surge, you must reset it to restore power. 1. Ensure the stand is connected to a power outlet. 2. Push the round, black reset button beside the AC power inlet. Power will be restored to the stand.

Use the stand only for it’s intended use as described in these instructions. Do not use attachments not recommended by SMART Technologies. Do not operate the stand if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or if it has been dropped into water.

This means while only trained personnel should operate the display, it is not expected that constant supervision will be maintained, and the stand may be left unattended. Use only SMART-supplied mounting hardware or hardware that is designed to properly support the weight of the mounted display and accessories.

Do not use the stand if the power cord is damaged. Replace a damaged power cord only with a new cord provided by SMART Technologies or a qualified service technician. Do not modify or make changes to the control unit or hand switches.

Important information Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the stand has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the stand, the stand has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
