  • Page 8 Operation The Heat Pump Dryer is an eco friendly and energy efficient appliance that will give you optimum performance. The dryer is easy to use and maintain. Operating the Dryer and Drying Tips Clothes must be spun in the washer before putting in the dryer. Shake out and load items in the dryer one at a time to ensure even drying.
  • Page 9 Basic Dry Press the Power Button on the extreme right side of the Control Panel to turn the dryer on. Turn the Program Dial to one of the 7 drying programs. The default time for the selected program will display on the Control Panel. The icon above Start will be flashing.
  • Page 10 Display Panel and Additional Functions After selecting the dry program on the Program Dial, additional functions can be activated on the Display Panel. Child Lock Additional Functions Press Dry Level repeatedly to select the level of dryness: Damp, Normal or Extra. The light next to the selection illuminates and the time is displayed on the Control Panel.
  • Page 11 Press Wrinkle Guard to rotate the drum intermittently after the drying program has ended, thereby reducing wrinkles. The duration of the wrinkle guard can be set from 1 hour to 10 hours. Press Wrinkle Guard once to select 1 hour rotation and the left icon will illuminate Press again to select 10 hours rotation and the right icon will illuminate.
  • Page 12 NOTE: If the sensor detects that the temperature is too high, the dryer will automatically stop for safety. When the dryer cools down sufficiently, it will automatically restart. Some programs will not allow you to select some of the additional features.
  • Page 13 Direct Drain (optional) During the drying process, the condensed water collects in the Condensed Water Tank which must be emptied after every dry cycle. There is an option for you to drain the water directly into a standpipe which goes to your wastewater sewer system.
  • Page 14 Cleaning and Maintenance Ensure the dryer has cooled down completely before cleaning. Make sure the power cord is unplugged before moving or cleaning the back of the appliance. Regularly clean the outside and inside surfaces with a damp soft cloth and mild detergent.
  • Page 15 Troubleshooting In most cases, when your Dryer fails to work, the problems arising can be easily solved without having to call for a technician.
