Taking Photos

✤ You may take still images while in REC mode and
store the images on tape. This function is useful
when you want to take a snapshot of a subject while
you are using the Camcorder.
✤ If you want to take a higher resolution still image,
switch to (CAMERA) mode (refer to page 99).
✤ You can take photos using the remote control.
✤ You can search still pictures recorded on a tape (refer
to page 76).
1. Turn your camcorder on by setting the Power Switch to REC
mode.

2. Press the PHOTO button halfway down to focus the image.

3. Within 2 seconds, fully press down the PHOTO button and then
release it to record the picture.
If you do not want to record, release the PHOTO button before
fully pressing it down.

It takes about 6 ~ 7 seconds to record the still image onto the
tape.
4. The camcorder returns to STBY (Stand-by) mode.

✤ Pressing the PHOTO button while recording stops the recording
and saves the still image captured at that moment. It takes approx.
6 ~ 7 seconds to save the image and then resumes the recording.
✤ You can use the remote control to take a photo by using the
PHOTO button on the remote control. Pressing the PHOTO button
on the remote control records the still image at once with automatic
focusing.

✤ Puede hacer fotografías mientras se encuentra en
la modalidad REC y guardar las imágenes en la
cinta. Esta función resulta de utilidad cuando se
quiere tomar una instantánea de un sujeto
mientras se utiliza la videocámara.
✤ Si desea hacer una fotografía con una resolución
más alta, cambia a la modalidad
(consulte la página 99).
✤ Puede hacer fotografías utilizando el mando a distancia.
✤ Puede buscar fotografías grabadas en una cinta
(consulte la página 76).
1. Encienda la videocámara colocando el interruptor de encendido en
la modalidad REC.

2. Pulse el botón PHOTO a mitad de camino para enfocar la imagen.

3. Transcurridos 2 segundos, pulse totalmente el botón PHOTO y
suéltelo para grabar la imagen.
Si no quiere grabar, suelte el botón PHOTO antes de pulsarlo
totalmente.

Se tarda unos 6 ~ 7 segundos en grabar la foto en la cinta.
4. La videocámara vuelve al modo STBY (Espera).
Nota
✤ Si se pulsa el botón PHOTO mientras se graba vídeo, se detiene
la grabación del video y se guarda la imagen fija capturada en ese
momento.
Se tarda aproximadamente 6 ~ 7 segundos en guardar la imagen
para reanudar la grabación.
✤ Puede utilizar el mando a distancia para hacer una foto utilizando
el botón PHOTO del mando a distancia.
Al pulsar el botón PHOTO del mando a distancia se graba la
fotografía directamente con el enfoque automático.
