1.0 Introduction
With this HDMI™ extender, you can extend HDMI™ audio/video signals up to 60 meters over a
single CAT6 cable. The extender kit includes both the local transmitter and the remote receiver
and is perfect for point-to-point digital signage applications that require high HDMI™ video
quality. The extender can also transmit IR signals from remote controls, ideal for controlling your
video source from your video destination. For perfect performance, the extender has a reset
function on the receiver that allows to optimally adjust the signal to the cable length.

Both the transmitter and the receiver are supplied with 5 V DC via a power supply unit, with
the receiver being powered by the transmitter.
Note: there are 2 RESET buttons on this extender kit: one on the transmitter ("Sender"), and one on
the Receiver.
RESET on the transmitter ("Sender"): Function for changing the 720p/1080p standard EDID
setting by pressing and holding for 3-5s
RESET on the receiver: Restart
