9. TEST RUN
The test run function will force the outdoor unit to operate. When performing the test run,
confirm that the entire system including the external devices operates normally. (If only the
outdoor unit operates, it may cause damage to the entire refrigerant system.)
9.1. Test run using Outdoor unit (PCB)
Refer to the installation manual for the outdoor unit if the PCB for the outdoor unit is to be
used for the test run.
9.2. Test run using remote controller
Refer to the installation manual for the remote controller to perform the test run using the
remote controller. (If using analog inputs, Fujitsu general remote controller operation will
be disabled.)
10. CHECK LIST (Example)
Pay special attention to the check items below when installing the entire system. After
installation is complete, be sure to check the following check items again.
Check items
Are the external devices and DX-Kit
operating as expected?
Has the indoor unit been installed cor-
rectly?
Has there been a check for gas leaks
(refrigerant pipes)?
Has heat insulation work been com-
pleted?
Does water drain easily from the indoor
units?
Is the voltage of the power source the
same as that indicated on the label on
the indoor unit?
Are the wires and pipes all connected
completely?
Is the indoor unit earthed (grounded)?
Is the connection cable the specifi ed
thickness?
Are the inlets and outlets free of any
obstacles?
Does start and stop air conditioner op-
eration by remote controller or external
device?
After installation is completed, has the
proper operation and handling been
explained to the user?

11. ERROR CODES
• When an error occurs, the LED on the PC board (LED name: LED1) flashes.
• "Error code" can be viewed by connecting the optional wired remote controller, group
remote controller, and IR receiver unit, etc.
If you use a wired type remote controller (Optional parts), error codes will appear on the
remote controller display. If you use a wireless remote controller (IR receiver unit of op-
tional parts), the lamp on the photodetector unit will output error codes by way of blinking
patterns. See the lamp blinking patterns and error codes in the table below.
