The hood cover sensor is an optional feature that is a combination of hardware and software
technology that can alert you when the workstation hood cover has been removed. This option is
available as a kit that includes the solenoid hood cover lock (see the following section). There are
three levels of protection, as described in the following table.

CAUTION: For maximum cover lock security, be sure to establish a setup password. The setup password
prevents unauthorized access to the Computer Setup utility.
