    They line-up and match with the Eaton UPS product line. The EBC-E is designed to be used with an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) rated up to 300 kW output power. The EBC-E has one battery string that has a maximum of 40 blocks per string.
  • Page 15 The EBC-E battery cabinet is supplied without external power wiring. The power wiring connections for EBC-E are rated at 90 °C. If the ambient temperature is greater than 30 °C, wire with a higher temperature rating and/or larger size may be necessary.

    User's and installation guide Installation compatibility of the EBC-E The EBC-E is designed to be used with an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) rated up to 300 kW output power. Other UPS cabinets may not be fully compatible with the EBC-E. Refer to the UPS for the requirements for the external battery supply.

    Do not make any assumptions about the electrical state of any cabinet in the UPS system. WARNING All service and maintenance work must be performed by an Eaton authorized Customer Service Engineer or by a qualified service officer authorized by Eaton.

    Battery maintenance WARNING Only authorized personnel are allowed to perform battery replacement and maintenance. If you need battery maintenance, contact your authorized Eaton Customer Service Engineer. Recycling the used UPS or batteries Remove the battery bank before disposing of the UPS or its battery cabinet.
