The EBC-E battery cabinet is supplied without external power wiring. The power wiring connections for EBC-E are rated at 90 °C. If the ambient temperature is greater than 30 °C, wire with a higher temperature rating and/or larger size may be necessary.

User's and installation guide Installation compatibility of the EBC-E The EBC-E is designed to be used with an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) rated up to 300 kW output power. Other UPS cabinets may not be fully compatible with the EBC-E. Refer to the UPS for the requirements for the external battery supply.
Do not make any assumptions about the electrical state of any cabinet in the UPS system. WARNING All service and maintenance work must be performed by an Eaton authorized Customer Service Engineer or by a qualified service officer authorized by Eaton.
Battery maintenance WARNING Only authorized personnel are allowed to perform battery replacement and maintenance. If you need battery maintenance, contact your authorized Eaton Customer Service Engineer. The warranty is only valid if the installation inspection and initial startup of the UPS unit is carried out by an authorized Eaton Customer Service Engineer or by other qualified service personnel authorized by Eaton. Service and maintenance of the UPS shall also be performed only by an authorized Eaton Customer Service Engineer or by other qualified service personnel authorized by Eaton.
