Inspect the product carefully to make sure there are no breakages or missing items during shipping. Do not discard the packing material and carton until you have carefully inspected and satisfactorily operated the product.

    INSTRUCTION MANUAL WARNING Clear the area to be cut before each use. Remove all objects such as cords, lights, wire, or loose string which can become entangled in the cutting blade and create a risk of serious personal injury. Always wear the safety goggles or safety glasses with side shields when operating the hedgetrimmer. If the trimmings or foreign object jams the cutting blades, be sure to remove the battery and wear gloves before attempting to remove the trimming or foreign object.
  • Page 23 WARNING Always keep both hands on the hedge trimmer handles. Never hold shrubs with one hand while operating the hedge trimmer with the other hand. Failure to heed this warning may result in serious injury. TRIMMING HEDGES Trim the sides of the hedge first (from the bottom upwards). Then cut the top.
