Getting Started with CMS
Beginning in privileged EXEC mode, follow these steps to configure the HTTP server interface:

Launching CMS

To display the switch access page, follow these steps:
Enter the switch IP address in the browser, and press Return.
Step 1
Enter your username and password when prompted. If no username is configured on your switch (the

default), enter only the enable password (if an enable password is configured) in the password field.

Purpose
Enter global configuration mode.
Configure the HTTP server interface for the type of authentication you
want to use.
enable—Enable password, which is the default method of HTTP
server user authentication.
local—Local user database as defined on the Cisco router or access
server is used.
tacacs—TACACS server is used.
Return to privileged EXEC mode.
Verify your entries.
