Note: the securing bolt is found in the bottom of the bracket and attaches directly to the speaker, fit this first before securing the speaker to the Cineair. • Run the speaker cabling down inside of unit front to the wall box using the cable management and ties provided, ensuring cable is flat to the cabinet surface.
  • Page 10: Cable Routing

ROUTING Cabling both too and from the TV, speaker and wall box should be neat and flat to the Cineair unit surface. Due to the rise and fall movement of the mechanism, nothing should obstruct moving components when the mechanism is operation.

AV EQUIPTMENT WIRING AND STORAGE Extra AV equipment can be connected to the TV and stored in the Cineair inside the wall box along with the Linak control box, junction box and Samsung control box. Using cable ties, attach the AV equipment on the wall box back plate and wire through to the TV using the PINK cable route stated above.
  • Page 12: Key Switch And Linak Remote Control

This key switch comes pre-wired into a junction box located on the wall box mounting panel. For safety, Cineair will operate when the key is turned and held in place. If released, the mechanism will stop movement, limiting the chances of trapping objects or fingers during operation.

As the mechanism closes, the top panel of the box shuts onto the body of the Cineair to close off the aperture. Due to the box closing in a downwards motion onto the cabinet, the lid should NOT be permanently fixed to the surrounding box, allowing the lid to move and release should anything get caught between the box lid and cabinet top.

If you can, store Cineair indoors with the cover on to protect the cabinet from weathering. • We recommend installing Cineair in a sheltered area like a veranda or terrace to keep both the • cabinet and the mechanism protected from the elements where possible.
