The VDR status LED shows the severity of the codes. All information which is displayed on the VDR status display will also be displayed on the BAU after the system is booted and if the BAU is operational.

More sophisticated measures than just retrying to write data were needed in order to fix the problem. The most likely cause is a temporarily disruption of communication from the VDR to VDR data disc or a defective VDR data disc.
