If the mouse does not respond

E C O N N E C T T H E M O U S E C A B L E

Press <Ctrl><Esc> to display the Start menu.

Press the arrow keys to highlight Shut Down and then press <Enter>.
If the computer has stopped responding, press the power button until the
computer turns off.

Disconnect the mouse cable from the computer.

Reconnect the mouse cable as shown on the
computer.

Turn on the computer.
