Setting Up a Dialup Backup Connection

If desired, you can use a dialup modem as the secondary Internet connection

method. The NetDefend firewall automatically dials the modem if the primary

Internet connection fails.

To set up a dialup backup Internet connection

1. Setup a dialup modem.

Configure a LAN or broadband primary Internet connection.
