Drain the fuel from the Sumps after Defueling

You must not permit the fuel tanks to collect too much water. Do the procedure to drain the sumps
drain valves for each tank regularly.

Fuel Servicing Regulations
(1)
Each operator is responsible for complying with the local, state and national regulations
regarding aircraft fuel servicing. It is possible that fire codes and standards make it necessary
to use different or more restrictive procedures than those given below. Make sure the
procedures used during the refuel operation give sufficient protection to persons and
equipment.
(2)
Obey all of the safety precautions supplied in this task: "Precautions and Limits for the Refuel
Operation".
(3)
If you make a decision not to do this recommended procedure, you must have an approved
alternative procedure.
