Printer Jam or Paper Jam

Remove the jammed paper depending on where it is jammed in the MFC.
Paper is jammed in the paper tray.

Remove any paper
from the paper tray
that is not jammed.

Pull up the jammed
paper to remove it.
If it is difficult to pull
Note
the jammed paper, try
to pull it while holding
down the Paper Release
Lever.
To improve the reliability of paper feeding, turn on Secure Feed mode by pressing
Note
the Shift and Scan to keys simultaneously. The MFC will then feed paper more
securely, but paper feeding will take a longer time. To turn off the Secure Feed
mode, simultaneously press Shift and Scan to again.
