Reduce Noise
You can reduce noise of scanned image. When noise appears in scanned image or print image of the
scanned image, this setting can reduce the noise.
Note
The Reduce noise setting is only available when 24 Bit Color is chosen and the Resolution is set to 300
× 300 dpi, 400 × 400 dpi or 600 × 600 dpi.
When scanning photographs or other images for use in a word processor or other graphics application, try
different settings for the Resolution, Scan Type, Brightness and Contrast to see which setting best suits
your needs.
