play music

To play music on your phone, you can use the native
music player.

Find it:
> Media > Media Finder > Music Library
> all songs
Select a song or playlist from these categories:
Recently Played, Shuffle Songs (play all songs in random order),
All Songs, Playlists, Artists, Albums, Genres, or Composers.
Note: To load music onto your computer and then
transfer it to your phone, see your User's Guide.

home screen shortcuts

(Network/subscription dependent feature) From
the home screen, press
shortcuts to your favorite features.
To change shortcut icons in the home screen:

Find it:
> Settings > Home Screen > NaviKey Shortcuts
> Up, Down, Left, or Right
Select a direction, then choose the feature you want
to open when you press the navigation key in that
direction.
To show or hide shortcut icons in the home screen:

Find it:
> Settings > Home Screen > NaviKey Shortcuts
> Icon Display > Show or Hide
wallpaper
Change the wallpaper image in the home screen:

Find it:
> Settings > Home Screen > Change Wallpaper
> Wallpaper and Graphics > Preloaded Wallpaper, scroll to an image,
press Select

up, down, left, or right as
flip closed
When a song or playlist starts to play, close the phone
flip and use the touch keys to control song playback in
the external display.
Tip: For best results, use the flat part of your finger to
activate the touch key controls.
Press volume

Saving and calling your contacts is effortless.

store a phone number

You can store a phone number in your list of Contacts.
Note: You can store a new contact in phone
memory, or store the contact both in phone memory
and on your SIM card. When you choose to store a
contact to both locations, only the contact's name
and phone number are stored on the SIM card.
To store a phone number:

Enter a phone number in the home screen.

Press Save.

Enter a name for the phone number, and enter
other information as desired.

If you want to save the number on your SIM card
in addition to storing it in phone memory, select
Save to SIM Card.

Press Save to store the contact.
