    USING THE METER Setup - Battery Installation USING THE METER SETUP - BATTERY INSTALLATION THE METER DOES NOT INCLUDE BATTERIES. Please insert three (3) AAA batteries. NOTE: This device is not designed to use rechargeable batteries. The included USB port and cable is only intended to transfer images to a computer.

    USING THE METER Capturing Images CAPTURING IMAGES The tool can store up to 52 BMP images (expandable with optional Micro SD Card). While viewing the main interface, pull the trigger to take the image. To save the image, press the button.

    USING THE METER Settings Menu Many common objects and materials (such as painted metal, wood, water, skin, fabrics, etc.) obtain relatively accurate measurements. For surfaces that emit energy easily (high emissivity), the emissivity is more than 90% (0.90). This simplified approach does not apply to glossy surfaces or painted metals because their emissivity is less than 60% (0.60).

    USING THE METER SD Card Installation ALARM SETTINGS This function allows you to set an audible alarm warning whenever an object reaches a certain pre-determined temperature (high or low). Short press the button to enter Settings menu. Press the keys to scroll up and down to select the Alarm category.

    For internally stored images, navigate to your computer’s File Explorer and locate the 3361 Drive. From here, you can copy images to your computer. For SD card images, unplug the SD card and directly insert the card reader into the computer or an external card reader for image transfers.
